freedom is a choice.. to be caged out of pure greed..

For the couple of years i have been with the telco service, i've never exactly had any problems. till i decided to renew my contract this year and was faced with a whole series of problems. check out this email that i rec'd coz my phone settings was not supported by the telco service itself and this was never mentioned to me despite 3 calls to the customer service center hotline requesting for this to be looked into and dunno how many sms sent to the auto setting numbers only to be told time and again i have input the wrong code, of which as a fairly savvy customer, i think i have followed instructions very carefully. but alas, none of my attempts yielded successful results and the return message did not even say that my phone model has no supported mms settings at all.

the third time i called reporting the problem, i was promised a technician who will be calling within two hours. Guess what, the call only came 4 days later! 2 hours vs 4 days, that's a hell of a difference man! Not only was i furious by then, the technician brought me to a further boiling point by telling me that my phone settings were not supported and that he will email me/run through with me through the phone on how the settings can be done. however, if i were to listen through the phone and if the line gets cut, i'd have to start all over again. This i thought would be quite a chore as well and thus i requested for the email to be sent to me. then the conversation went like this.

technician: mdm' coz we don't have the settings for G900, can i send you a similar settings from the model W900?

me: huh, what you mean? aren't you supposed to be advising me instead of asking for my opinion? you tell me!

then he said he will send me the settings via email and this is what i got.

Guess what, half of what is written here (those bolded), i don't even see it in my phone. For example, I don't see internet settings and i tried whatever i can find with the word internet or settings to do the setting, but nothing came close.

Wah raoz, this is really more than the last straw man. I am going to write in and i definitely am going to ask for compensation. i dont expect to be getting this crap service, advice, follow up and being raised voice at. so what it's 6 months of free bills and free internet access (which i couldn't even do due to the settings) i've learnt my lesson.

Choosing freedom out of pure greed coz of a $100 voucher sure isn't worth it and i sure am going to jump ship!!

by the way, doesn't it worry you when you see this liner in the email as a disclaimer??
