money woes

i've calculated, i think i will be living on a very tight budget in the next few weeks until before i go to spain. this means, no shopping, no dinners at restaurant, no expensive salad lunches, like drink only on ladies night etc. any possible ways to save money. i think i'd just have to go on teh tarik and toast. spend like less than 3 bucks a day. so maybe i'd just eat two slices of fruit for lunch and drink vending machine teh tarik every day. i think i can afford a slice of bread too. hmm...so pathetic hor.

i've also checked the exchange rate. it's 1 Euro to 2.095 Sing dollars. Wah piangz, it's twice the amount man!! can die! anyway it's one of the highest since Jan. Siao liao!

now i feel a bit demoralised and came up with some silly strategies like the above. well, no one to blame, i had many months to save up but i chose not to. so now, i have to tighten my budget. all is not lost as i still have some free massage sessions and facial sessions. heh so i can still enjoy a bit. but no clothes for now and no shoes. i'd leave all shopping to spain. i'm sure it'd be worth it.

slack the whole day today. woke up at 10 ish, went back to sleep till 12 ish. had lunch and watched some anime till 2 ish and slept again. had the weirdest dream and woke up at close to 4pm. i basically slept the day away. i managed to do some reading, speaking of which i just bought a couple, hmm infact quite a lot of books considering i haven't been reading for the longest time. so what happened was i went to the Harris book sale at Suntec and bought the following books over two days.

Turning Thirty - Mike Gayle (currently reading)
The Secret - Rhonda Byine
Anansi Boys - Neil Gaiman
Everyone Worth Knowing - Lauren Weisberger
The Glass Castle - Jeanette Walls
The True and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters - Elisabeth Robinson

I wonder how long i will take to finish them. haa, i'd keep you peepz updated.

Off to bed now.
